I’m an African American college student based in Portland, Oregon, with a deep seated passion for artistic expression. Art has always been my way of carving out a space uniquely my own. Every chance I get, between work and school, I turn to it as my escape a doorway into a little world within my mind that’s constantly moving and evolving. When the moment is right, I step into this world to create things that speak where words cannot, allowing my imagination to roam free and bring intangible ideas to life. I call it my “Red eye Room”, a wonderland, a house, a part of myself that lives in color, shapes, and moods. Through art, I’m able to share pieces of this other self with the world.
